A Divine Pledge to Serve GauMata

It is said that when a noble resolution is infused with divinity, it transcends being just a thought and becomes the foundation of a great transformation. Such was the beginning of an inspiring journey when a revered saint visited a place where a few mother cows had been given shelter. He drank the sacred milk of GauMata and, suddenly, a question shook his heart, what happens to these mother cows when they grow old and can no longer give milk?"

The answer to this question left him deeply disturbed. He realized that the very cows who were once considered part of the family, symbols of service and devotion, were abandoned once they stopped producing milk. Left on the streets, they suffered from hunger, accidents and neglect, eventually meeting a tragic end. This heart wrenching reality moved the saint and at that very moment, he took a divine vow… No GauMata shall ever be left destitute. Every cow, every Gauvansh regardless of age or utility, will be given love, care and protection.

With this sacred determination, he established Shree Krishnayan Gaushala in the holy land of Haridwar in the year 2010, beginning with just 11 cows. This was not merely a shelter but a sanctuary of compassion and devotion. Over time, this selfless service expanded and today, more than 21,000 cows and bulls are provided with food, shelter, medical aid and protection. Every single day, abandoned, injured, or aging cows, deserted by their owners, are rescued from the streets and brought to Shree Krishnayan to receive the love and dignity they deserve. With unwavering faith and dedication, this noble initiative is now expanding beyond Haridwar, spreading its roots across multiple states. More and more Gaushalas and Gauraksha Kendras are being established, ensuring that every helpless Gau Mata finds a safe haven, no matter where she is.

Shree Krishnayan Gaushala is not just an institution; it is a living embodiment of Sanatan Dharma and selfless service. Here, cows are never exploited for milk; instead, their milk is offered freely to saints, ascetics, Gausevaks and ashrams. Hundreds of devoted Gausevaks work tirelessly, day and night, to ensure that every cow receives the same love and care as a mother deserves.

This sacred mission continues to grow, with each passing day bringing new hope to an abandoned GauMata. This is not just a Gaushala—it is a movement of compassion, service and cultural reverence, where serving cows is considered the highest form of worship.

"Gau Seva is Narayan Seva", with this eternal truth at its core, the sacred journey of Shree Krishnayan Gaushala continues…

Who We Are

The name Shree Krishnayan itself is derived from the epic granth Shreemad Bhagavad Gita, embodying the eternal wisdom and divine blessings of Lord Krishna and is entirely dedicated to Him.

It is not just an institution; it is a sacred movement—a revival of seva (selfless service), daan (charity) and dharma (righteousness). Rooted in Krishna’s philosophy of compassion, duty and unwavering service, Shrikrishnayan stands as a testament to the spiritual and intellectual heritage of Bharat.

At Shree krishnayan, we exist not for personal gain but for the greater good. Every thought, every action and every offering is a tribute to parmarth seva, a selfless devotion to humanity, Gaumata, Sanatan Dharma and the restoration of Bharat’s intellectual and spiritual legacy.

We are committed to the establishment of Dharma and to upholding Sanatan values, ensuring that righteousness and spiritual wisdom guide society. We are dedicated to restoring the lost honor of Gaumata, protecting and nurturing her as a symbol of purity and sustenance. With deep compassion, we serve Daridra Narayan (serving the poor as a form of God), extending help to the poor, the needy and the suffering, while also striving to feed underprivileged families, ensuring that no one sleeps hungry. Beyond service, our commitment extends to reviving Baudhik Sanskriti, rekindling the lost wisdom of Bharat and preserving its intellectual and cultural heritage for future generations.

Shree krishnayan stands as a purely spiritual and philanthropic institution, where service is worship and sacrifice is the path to enlightenment.

Here, ascetics, sages and sevaks renounce worldly pleasures to immerse themselves in tapasya (austerity), living in simple huts, away from material desires. Their lives are dedicated to the upliftment of the needy, the protection of Gaumata and the resurgence of Sanatan values. Through their tireless efforts, we strive to restore the lost wisdom of Bharat, rekindling the flames of Baudhik Sanskriti—the great intellectual and cultural legacy of our ancestors.

Join us. Serve selflessly. Protect Dharma. Honor Gaumata. Reawaken Bharat’s Soul.

Our Mission & Vision

Our mission is to create a self-reliant and harmonious society by embracing sustainable practices and ensuring the well-being of Desi cows and Gauvansh. We are committed to providing them with shelter, nutritious food and medical care, ensuring their safety, dignity and rightful place in society.

Beyond cow protection, our vision extends to nurturing human lives, promoting health, wellness and spiritual awakening rooted in Sanatan Dharma. Through Gau Seva, we strive to build a world that is hunger-free, healthy and spiritually enriched, where people live with peace, purpose and devotion.

By preserving India’s sacred traditions, fostering compassion and spreading the light of Dharma, we aim to create a future where both Gau Mata and humanity thrive together in harmony.

We envision a world where every individual lives with dignity, harmony and a deep connection to nature and spirituality.
